If you are a size 42 or smaller, finding an original in good shape is fairly easy. I know you said you like the russet color, so custom maybe the only way to go.

Magnolia is famous in the "INDY JONES" circles. He does a lot of movie repo jackets, shirts, suits. Many people love his stuff too. I think he does a type of officer pinks also. If you have the time, I would recommend checking his site out.

Nice bike. I ordered my Aero about 3 months ago. Received an e-mail from Mark last week that it left the factory and is on its way to the states. As always, when it's here you will see the pics. I ordered a FQHH LHB in brown. The only thing I asked for was an inside pocket like G-1's have.

Peter, you are so right. B&W photos show us a place we can only see but not touch. The color photos are great in seeing the color of those jackets but it does take some of the nostalgia away.

I have been watching that channel too. It was great to watch Hogans Heroes again. Yes, Carter is wearing a much newer jacket. Hogans seems different too. Could just be the years since I have watched and, as discussed on another thread, see it in color again.

Russet seems to be the dominate color in all of those jackets. Why do so many people want the Seal color for their own jackets. I have no qualms with either one, just curious.

It is a good looking jacket, it just looked like it was maybe a long or tall size, but it is hard to say when you don't know the other persons size and shape in relation to you. I have noticed that alot of G-1's seem slim and long. My issued one and my LW both are that way. I tend to like them...
