WW2 B-10 Jacket with Blood Chits

Hello there, I recently purchased a B-10 jacket from an auction. I am new to this world, but from my research, I believe it looks correct. I have some pictures below, so I defer to someone with more knowledge, for their opinions. The authenticity of the wrist cloth concerns me, as non of the other B-10 jackets I have seen have a dark green color, perhaps they were replaced? The general design and build look correct from my research, including the manufacturer, Stagg Coat. Though faint, there is a chop mark on the Republic of China flag blood chit. In terms of the name, John D. Lee Jr. I believe I found a potential match, John Doyle Lee Jr. born in 1923 and who served in the Pacific theater. I have included his discharge papers and, in the arm or service field, it says AC, which I believe stands for Air Corp. However, in the organization field, it says 1 128th MP CO AVN, which I believe translates to 1st battalion, 128th infantry, Military Police, Aviation? This is confusing given I don’t understand the relationship between the AC and AVN abbreviations and an infantry regiment. If he did serve in the Air Corps, I would think that the chance of this John D. Lee Jr. being the person to have owned the jacket would be high given the name match and serving in the Pacific and the blood chits?

I would love your opinion and any advice you have on potentially restoring the jacket or maintaining it, given the server tears on the elbows and broken shipper. Also, if there are any other recommendations for helping me to identify and learn more about the person who potentially wore the jacket, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for your help!

I agree. Something is missing here. Additionally no mention of any air related medal. Not many ground crews wore a B-10 And again if they did, why the blood chit? Theater of ops doesn’t match up either as mentioned above. Having said that, the jacket looks original with some condition issues and replaced cuffs.

The cuffs look like they're in pristine condition (so, a more recent replacement). I wonder if the work was done by Buzz Rickson, or someone using their knits? Many have noted that they like darker green knits for their B-10s, B-15s, etc.

On the A-2 Jacket Facebook group, one of the members commented and provided a picture of Station Defense Troops wearing B-3s, meaning that perhaps he got his hands on the jacket. The blood chits are strange. I will keep digging and see if perhaps there is another potential candidate, but the likelihood of another John D. Lee Jr. in the Air Crops and in the Pacific seems low. Perhaps he just went under the name John Lee. Thank you!

Interesting thank you. I will say that while their condition is pristine, they are kind of crunchy to the touch. Would you recommend replacing them, or will cause undue damage to the cuffs? Also any thoughts on preparing the elbows vs keeping them in their current condition? Thank you!

He flown missions in Burma and China, did not get into India border. It gonna help you narrow down your search.
