Don't know much about A-1 jackets, but this looks good for the price.

If you want an early pattern Type A-1 (single button collar and buttoned waistband) that's capeskin it's a good buy.
I've seen more expensive A-1 jackets that differ more from the usual patterns - aside from the odd positioning of the pockets (the pencil slot is based on an G-1 location, on the wrong side).
