Why am I getting question mark symbols where photos should be?

Seriously, hasn't happened to me but I have weird things happen, like sometimes if I click on Alerts it comes up with a "Oops something's gone wrong" message.

I deleted cookies and empty chache too, and logged out and in again.

No dice.

All of a sudden I'm not able to see thumbnails when I click on them. Get a "content not available, check back later." message.

System glitch somewhere.

Can’t seem to upload full-sizes images either, and I REALLY don’t want to use a thumbnail.

Picture issue - or rather lack of - started for me this morning. Forum software or hosting glitch perhaps.

I tied logging off and on but nothing .
