What Kind Of Zipper...

...is this? My patched M51 just arrived and this is the kind of zipper that's on it. Its not like the zips on any of my other jackets. The jacket is dated 16 April 1953.

David, that was my first impression, too. But the photo I provided in my post above is a photo I took from another auction of another 1953 M-51....made by another contractor! So there are at least two 1953 M-51s with the same zipper.

There's actually a small name on the front of the zipper...but I'm at work right now, and I'm half blind, and there is not one damn magnifying glass in this entire flippin' office.
