I originally wanted to sell it but I am now thinking of keeping it

Your Pritzker 55J14 contract was awarded in the 1951 fiscal year. So it dates from sometime between July 1950 and June 1951. The patina on the goatskin is just fantastic and from your photos in the Buy/sell section it looks like a very nice jacket.
