northern boys... they scoff at cold temps. lol!Interesting. It was January, but I can only see two B-3s, the majority were flying in A-2s
not color but a nice crisp closeup of an A-2 with wonderful grain.

He looks somewhat older than most! Interesting in the pic of 56th Fighter jocks how many are actually wearing leather helmets as I've often wondered why you so commonly see a crusher being worn in the cockpit? Guess a leather helmet might feel a bit claustrophobic by comparison and frankly offers no protection!! Great atmospheric pics and real colour too.

I agree, superb A2 also looks to be a heavy smoker, lovely how the colour image brings out the nicotine stained fingers ( I don't even know why I noticed that )

Great photo, but if one of us posted that picture here , the general consensus would be that the jacket was to big on him and the sleeves needed to be shorten.
