Well,

Like I said on my Nylon post been doing a lot of hunting this winter and I just got this one in from the 'ol eBay. I have wanted to start gettting into cloth but man the B-series jackets can go high dollar on ya in a hurry.

This example is of a B-9 by "Reed Products Inc." it is a size 40'', but fits like a 44R. the cuffs are in sad shape, but the rest of the jacket is very nice. Will look good with my "Reed" A-8/A-9 flight trousers. This I think is from a '42 - '43 Contract?

It has an early tag in it. with a "W" in the contract line, didn't that mean "War Department" contract and didn't it go out of labels in early '42? Anyways I am just learning about cloth and I though this was a good deal for $50 bucks.

enjoy....Gy Dan

Full Gear lists them all as FY 1944. The Reed is the second of the known contracts, so that would make it the later half of 1943.
