I like it. Great PR for you and the company. One suggestion. I think it should be spelt " Lucasfilm " not Lucas Film. Might help with search engines etc.
RCsignals,
That is excellent information and thank you for bringing it to my attention. I really do hope
that all of us 'cash in' from our involvement in the film and that suggestion will certainly help.
Deeb,
Good eye... although that has said that for all 4 years that the site has been active
"I think the ones they sell on the ELC site are much, much nicer."
Thats odd - they are one and the same!! Well maybe not the new specialist maker versions but
I thought DD supplied ELC or, is it me, is bseal being ironic???
This is from a small custom tailor that was in London... J Collett Ltd. I chose this as they seem to have used aniline
leather, unlike most of the other makers that used pigment finished hides. Also these caps have a very recognizable
label in them that states that they are made for "THE UNITED STATES FORCES, in European Operations". This is a label
that I have admired for quite a long time.
Like JC, once you have the label maker sorted the world is your oyster. Simply mod the pattern and you are on your way to replicating all the makers. OCD sufferers will be unable to keep up. Great to see more on offer....
Hmmmmm, No, I had not considered that... My only issue would be, much like JC that I made several different styles for the film and would not know which one to make for the "Special Edition" version.. I will have to ponder that.
