Seeking "ID" AAF/Navy B-24/PB4Y unit patch on jacket w/art ........

    This image was sent to me for ID help, I found nothing on it so far, possibly either an AAF unit or Navy one, has a small B-24 painted on the back of the jacket , the patch on front was a replacement as there was another of some type on it before you can see prior stich marks, if you know this one please reply , thank you!!!!!

    very similar to a vt-5 insignia but not sure they ever used bombers.

    Yeah, that was my first thought , but colors are different over all and a Torpedo Squadron didn't use Bombers that I know of ……..
