Replace back panel liner in A-2?

I want to try this on a US Authentic goat A-2. It came with some icky corporate event transfer on the back liner panel. I want to reattach it wrong-side-out so this is not visible.

I'll be handsewing. The big issue I foresee is closing the bottom seam, where liner, knit and hide all meet one another. This will have to be done with the jacket right-side-out (something has to be, after all the other seams are shut), and I want to stitch it so it's invisible or not easily visible. Is it possible to do?

Work inside out for as long as you can and work from the nape out.
at the waistband is the place to hide the 'external' stitching.
