Putting patches on Kit bags

Hi guys
I’ve been away for the last week or so …. So I hope it’s ok to just jump in with an opinion on these bags . WWII parachute bags in fairly good condition are frequently available on EBay at costs that are below the current rates of commercially made repros. I’ve discussed this before with many of you, why purchase a repro ELC or whatever commercially made bag at $50-$75.00 more than a legitimate originally made bag . Often with just some minor repair work, the originals can be purchased at below market value and restored to great condition . Just my thoughts on the matter .
