i discover this nice jacket on ebay; i don't intend to buy but i really enjoy the model of this jacket.
can someone give an idea on the era ????
possible private purchase during ww2 or just a civilian and postwar jacket ????

I would say post war, circa 1950, Marcel.

I DON'T KNOW FOR 100% THAT THE JACKET WAS ISSUED BECAUSE THAT TAG IS GONE BUT I DO KNOW THAT FRONT QUARTER MADE JACKET FOR THE MILITARY IN THAT PERIOD.

... and the seller speaks from the hind quarter.

.... I see it as a nice looking civilian jacket that's seen better days, and has a bit of a seller's story, but no provenance.
