What's so special about this jacket that the seller thinks it's worth more than Eastman sell them for new ?

I know these cost more in the USA, but in the UK are £419 which includes postage. Still well OTT price!

Well it's kind of 'special' as it's made from goat, the usual Eastman stock ones are horse or steer, I must say it looks real nice in the goatskin too...plus the colour. looks like Eastman made this as a test jacket perhaps...

Yes the goat is very nice, and it will be interesting to see if it sells.

Very nice if it was a 42 I would go for it but the 44 is too big

Very nice- too small and expensive for me... since it's only a day old i'd pull it and move it to WWII German with repro in the title.

I just used my old RMNZ G-1 listing so ...

your 'fury collar' jackets looked very classy! could you tell me about the fit between the g-1 and the m-442 a.
for navy jackets, i like the pointy collar but not the long body fit.

I would guess the M-422a should have a shorter fit than G-1.
I am not 100% sure.

The M422a I had is size 44 and the G-1 is size 46. (both RMNZ)

The ELC 55J14 size 44 has more room than RMNZ's G-1 7823 size 46.

The weird thing of ELC's M422a goatskin is its color.
It chages color with the light between light reddish/brown.
You can see it at my pictures.

Since the Goat hide is small than HH or Cow.
Gary has to alter the waist part and made it 3 pieces.
It's under the adjustment buckle.
If it was HH or Cow it will be only one piece.

Another thing about the ELC vs RMNZ on G-1/M422a.
ELC has solid job on their buttons.
RMNZ's is kind of loose.
