I like my Cooper goatskin A2 but the side panels and light weight bother me. I'm in the market for a heavier more authentic A2 but I need to try to keep the cost around or under the 500.00 mark. What are my best options?

Also, the Cooper I have is size 44L and is a perfect fit. Are the horsehide jackets sized the same or do you think I can get away with a regular cut? I'm only 6'1" so I think I'm on the bubble.

The best way to get a good fit is to measure your jacket you have now, and when you are going to get a new one, get one with the same measurements. Each A2 is sort of unique in my book, so this won't guarantee the same fit exactly, but should get you in the ball park.
