Norden Bombsite??

Would anyone here know what a Norden Bombsite might be worth?
It's in very good to excellent condition and is attached to the stabilizer. From what I gather about it is that it was never installed in a plane. It was purchased quit a few years ago from the company who use to ship them to the Air Corps.

Wow! That's way lower than I expected.
I have a friend that has one which he brought years ago and paid over $3500 for it.
The one that I found, the seller is wanting a little over $3000 for it.

$1,500 was the norm for many years. I would imagine it is lower now as the thread at USMF states. $3000 is way over the top, even in the good times!

Yeah, I remember seeing them for $1500 and thought that was an aweful lot. Not sure if they were moving or not. They aren't as rare or as "magic" as they were at the time.
