New Eastman shearling compared to original

If you look at the collar where there as been no wear I think it's clear this jacket left the factory with a matte or semi-matte finish. Note the paper type crinkling.
Eastman have come in for some stick over their new shearling but it does look authentic to me, compared to at least some originals.
