according to Watkins: "Battle Colors, 8th AF Insignia and a/c Markings" the 458th probably did not have its own insignia. The 4 squadrons in the group did but not the group supposedly.
I have seen a "proposed" emblem design for the Group, it was called "Buck Rogers Boys" and was a round disc with motto tab at top , inside the disc a bomb "target " in lowest area with a 8th AAF emblem behind it , over that a aerial bomb , in on ring of the "target" area the word AZON" .
This is the only design I've ever seen "related" to the "Group" but was never made ......................
As far as I've been able to find they didn't ever have a WW2 emblem for the Group
