N.O.S BRILL BROS., INC. TYPE G-1 INTERMEDIATE FLYERS JACKET MIL-J-7823E (AS)

Gents,

Today I wanted to share a NOS example of the G-1 from E series, this specific contract was awarded by Brill Bros., Inc in fiscal year, 1975. This is not the scarcest series of the 7823 model by any means, but finding it in new condition after more than 45 years is not that usual.

Leather is in mint condition. All parts are genuine to the jacket. Dynal collar is immaculate. Knits are pristine, which is rare even for a New Old Stock example. Serval zipper is working perfectly.

Thanks, Couchy! Yes, this is a small one for me. Normally my size would be 42, but sometimes I even manage to fit in 36’s from WWII, unfortunately this is not the case. I would say that this is a true 38, but since I don’t wear them, size is not really a problem.

It is always interesting to see the NOS. Does it creak? I had this Brill contract and I sold it, it was heavy and squeaky like an old sofa.
