So here is a set of the N-4B mittens. In new condition. I like the star on the back. Anyone know the year of manufacture? I am thinking early to mid sixties...

With that labeling I wouldn't be surprised if they're a bit earlier, perhaps mid-to-late '50s. Nice mittens!

I did some digging in my kit bags...I have a "B" series set of mittens too. Not terribly collectible, but they are warm. I found on the internet (ebay) an "A" series with the black tag, green not blue. Also on Ebay was an F series set of mittens. Dont see much change in the series besides the tag.
