Just arrived yesterday 
, after a long wait (since June).
It's made of heavy waxed cotton (800g/sq-m) but unlike the FQHH version it doesn't weigh a ton (under 1.8 kg)
I always like the Barnstormer but the sheer weight kind of put me off...
As you can see from the pics, there are various influences including G-1, motorcycle jacket, etc.
Best of all, there's no break-in period, although I'm missing the new leather smell...I wonder if I could just spray that new leather smell on to the jacket?
