My Brother was a MFG Engineer at Northop in the 1990's. He worked on the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet, the F-5 Tiger II, and a bit on the B-2 Spirit Bomber. I made up this jacket for him for Christmas this year. The jacket was a nice find. It's a NOS 1993 Carter Industries jacket in pristine condition.

The CWU series are great flight jackets IMO. They are a great design- they age in a weird specific way and they have a general feeling of workaday utility to them.

My only issue with finding a good CWU jacket is most seem to have Velcro on them for hanging patches. On an older one it leaves a discolored spot when you remove it . Not really a dealbreaker though.

Looking good. Let me refrase: looking very good. The fun thing of velcro is of course one can vary endlessly on themes with just one jacket.
Amazing condition, must be NOS.

I can hardly get myself to patching up CWU jackets, it sorta makes me feel over the top, or kind a wannabe.
Don't have that with MA-1 or older jackets because those are from at least three generations back and clearly obsolete.
