Let me introduce you to my new Alexander leathers Dakota in Black Goat, size 38 :

as you can see I like close fiting jackets !

I need a good hait cut !

I'm an "old guy" in the vintage things since I collected them since 2004. But I didn't post that mutch...

So I make a exception :let me invited you to my "vintage room", I'm a straight razors fanatic (I only shave with "wedges" straight razors that have more than 150 years old, ...you can't have a better shave), vintage cloths (leather jackets, hats, boots and so on and on), vintage watches (wrist or pocket, I own no quartz watch), very olds books (the oldest date from 1550) etc...I do no collect things that I can't use...

All this drives my wife crazy... ;-)) as you can imagine !

I have some repros leathers jackets : (aero, lost world, eastman...from size 36 to 42)

and a great deal of vintage ones (maybe 50 or so, as I wear a "vintage size" I have found a lot of leather jackets for a song in the early days of Ebay back to 2004 ! I stoped Ebaying jackets because I own to many, price is to hight for what i'm intressting in -rare birds- and custom charges are to heavy from the states as I live in France).

So I think I'm able to judge of the quality of my alexander jacket, which is excellent for the price !

Nice stuff, when collecting vintage jackets, it sure helps to be a skinny bastard, some have all the luck.

So the AL feels ok? It seems like a great fit. I suppose they'll aim for Aero quality at the least. How'd you describe the character of the leather?
I've been checking their site from time to time, they're very active.

I'm married, and we have together a little 2 1/2 years old little demon girl !

The goatskin is as good as the one used on my "Lost World", but without that "plastic" finish.

It's very soft and elastic, a bit heavier than my goatskin jackets from the 1930 1950 area.(but maybe they're made out of capeskin, as the period's catalogues claims ?)

Great jacket and man cave- this is my kinda man cave (not the beer sign and autographs of aging sports and action move stars from childhood). tho i think its missing some vintage Islay single malt and well-aged long leaf tobacco in stick form

Great jackets Charlie, and a great room. I love old books too, though I don't have any going back to the 15th century. That's what I call old !
