m422 Collar USN stamp

I saw this listing of an M-422, the lining seems to be replaced as there is no tag present, but there is a faint black USN stamp on the back of the collar.

Is it possible to identify the maker via the type, placement and colour of the USN stamp if for example the tag is missing? the few Church's i've seen have a black stamp more to one side, whereas Gordon & Ferguson is white and centred (?)

I'd say that's a Church. Collar stamp is right for them and the pocket shape with longer looking flaps is right. On sold recently in excellent condition with all the same tail tail signs which still had its church lable

Jagodina seems to sell a lot of M-422's.

I sometimes see 46's but I wish there were the occasional sz48 (although I suspect an original 46 might work as I wear a 48 in orig A-2's).
