Here's one of the originals. Andrew graciously sold this to me in 2015-2016. As he described, it was a "generous 46." Fit more like a large 48 or even a 50. Huge jacket. Cuffs and waistband were replaced by Andrew before I received it. The rest is original.

Not of the original, The thing was huge and just a bag on me. I ended up selling it a year or two after acquiring it from Andrew. Saying it was a generous 46 was understating the size. It was at least a typical 48 or possibly even a 50. It was big everywhere.

not an Knopf, its a Monarch. Sorry I posted it. It was a long time ago on Dec. 18, 2021. I didn't try to deceive. I was just trying to get into the conversation.

Knopf A2 from the 118th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron

The insignia on the wearers left breast is that of the 76th Fighter Squadron.

Charles Griffith was the Squadron Commander of the 76th when he was killed
while performing a low altitude victory roll over Luliang, China airfield in 1944.
He and his wingman collided during the maneuver, both were killed, sad to say.
