Knopf A.C. Order NO 42-18246-P A2 jacket

Greetings,
Wondering if anyone can tell me anything about the Knopf Order no. 42-18246-P Air Force U.S. Army A2 jacket.
Are they hard to come by as I don’t see many referenced. We’re there many made and did they manufacture them late in the war?

i am out and about so don’t have my Eastman book to hand
They had one contract and the only person making them is I believe John at GW
If other don’t chime in I will answer more fully Saturday

I went back to try and find the blade thing. Cant.
It was an original Knopf 18246, but it was not titled very well. I happened on it by chance. Annoying.

I saw it too and had it on my watched list. Looks like the seller came back and put a buy it now for 675 and it sold quick.

Glad I didn't see it…My son lives in Bloomington and even though I am a 46-48 it would have been tempting at that price.
