Kewl 10th AAF Patch

According to the seller, it's a 3rd Air Depot, 10 AAF patch.
It looks like a Wright Field arrow with the Taj Mahal inside the arrow.

It appears to be a RW 18091 in a small size. I wonder how recently it was relined? The patch sure looks like a Wright field patch with an interesting addition. Not sure it will be sold for the $4K BIN, unless someone has to much seasonal cheer. :lol:

I've recently seen a photo (though i can't recall where) of a patch quite similar to this with the Wright arrow but with the difference being that instead of the Taj it had a kangaroo. I think the Squadron was also Air Transport but based here, so maybe it's an ATC thing.

One of my favorite patches. There is a website with a huge collection of squadron patches that I can't find right now (I think the guy mostly had stuff about jeeps on his site aside from the patch section) where I first saw it.

The Wright Field "Arrow" was also used by the Bengal Air Depot. It has a bengal tiger in the arrow as well as the 3 rd Air Depot.
