Hi Guys;
I hope that posting a link for academic purposes is acceptable. If not, will the moderator please delete and accept my humble aplogies? Is this a civie Schott G1? I learned from the Schott blog that they did some contract G1's, but shouldn't an issue label be white with black lettering?

100% pure civvie jacket, but quite a nice one. I think Schott may be fibbing about having military contracts but I stand to be corrected. I've just never come across one myself.

Thanks for the replies. I recently picked up the same jacket in my size at a local antique shop that specializes in military memorabilia. I was pretty sure that it wasn't issue - and paid accordingly - but it is a decent jacket.
