Hi guys,

Just joined didn't see a formal place to introduce myself do here seems as good a place as any.

Just developed an interest in vintage jackets, mostly moto.

Picked up a jacket made by Rich-Sher, but am having trouble learning a lot about the company.

Jacket is a classic perfecto in horsehide, and allegedly dates to the 40"s-50's

I'm a little concerned about this claim. Liner of jacket shows wear, but nothing like I'd expect to see from something 70 years old

Leather is simply amazing looking for that age. The hardware is brass talon zips on the front and sleeves, and what seems to be maybe nickel plated brass on the pockets? Can't read the maker the print is too smalll.

I can post pics, but any initial thoughts? Can 60-70 year old horsehide show very little wear or patina?

Thanks for any help,

Vic
