Im trying to put a concise list of all contracts of these watches produced by the 3 manufacturers .

If possible i would like , photos of the reverse of any A11 watches you might have . This will help me in collating the correct contract number against my lists which have a pretty poor description , basically , they are somtimes listed as just "watch" or "Navigation watch" , though a few are listed as A11 .

Any help would be greatly appreciated in this project .

IIRC that info is out there on the watch sites. I remember specifically the A-17 contract lists and some heated debates on the earliest dates.
Hopefully it might save some redundant research. I could photograph some backs of a few of mine.

Don’t remember seeing the production numbers. Most of what I remember is from the A-17 but thought I saw some A-11 info in passing.

Carl, there is a watch website: Military Watch Resource (MWR) that might have the information you are searching for. I am certain you can find information there as the members are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as well.

    Regards,

I have an Elgin 1941 A-11. I could get the info off of the case back, if you need it.

Will do. Do you also want the case back info off of the Bulova sterling A- 11? The nomenclature likely isn’t different, but I don’t know.
