Help me identify grandpa's A2

My grandpa's A2, in fantastic condition. He was a C-47 pilot based in England '42-'43 then medically retired. It was relined at some point in reddish satin, the label lost, and the knits are different colors. No collar stand as far as I can tell. Seal leather with dark stitching to match. I'm wondering if it's goatskin, owing to the pebbly texture on the front quarter and sleeve in the fourth picture, but I'm new to the goat/horse leather recognition game.

The jacket is not in my possession, but I can request pictures if there are specific details that would help.

The roundel is for Air Transport Command.

Photographs of the snaps and zipper would help.

Also there does appear to me to be hints of a collar stand, a photo of the underside of the collar would help
clarify the situation.
