Does anyone know where I can buy olive drab hbt fabric by the yard? I have not had any luck in my search so far.

China...... and they will not answer you for less than a truck load!
Unless you can get a US-based Mfg of WWII repros to sell you some, you might be out of luck.
FYI, much of it I see used in repros is not the correct weave for WWII.
Another option is to source a damaged set of coveralls, dhirt, etc if it is for a small repair/project.
