Have some questions about this a-2 jacket

Hi. It’s my first time posting here. I posted same question on Reddit, but there was no answer, so I post here..

Anyway, I'm curious about this jacket. I want to buy this jacket online, but the seller doesn't know anything about it except it's made of cowhide. I googled whole letters of the label in the photo and found this site. There was a person who posted a similar question as me. From that thread, i found w535-ac-27753 means Cable Raincoat company was most likely made this jacket. Anyway, this is my question.

1. Is it real cable raincoat company’s product? I think this jacket seems too good to be an old product
2. Has the company gone out of business? I can't find the company's site.
3. Is it okay to buy it?

And please let me know If you know anything about this jacket. It is hard to find the information.. thank you

Definitely not an original cable. That's much closer to the pattern of the revival A-2s currently used by the Air Force. The zig-zag leather behind the label is common to jackets from the '80s onward. I've never seen a vintage jacket that had one. Others likely know more about the actual maker, but I suspect the label is an imitation of the original A-2s to make the jacket look more authentic.

Personally, I'd buy something else. There are a bunch of alternatives at different price points.
