Hi Gents,

As promised here's a couple of jackets up on the 'bay. I've started a new thread as the last kinda got a little derailed.

Doni:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0373883919

B-15C (mod):
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0373889488 SOLD

The Donigers on auction but the Buzz B-15C (mod) is a fixed price so I will take offers on this within reason ie £225/£325.

More to come including Buzz L-2, Buzz Chinos, 1944 lvc's 35w 34L soaked once washed once, RAW lvc 37's unwashed and unworn(brand new) 36w 38l, 555 '47's 34w 34l and lots of other stuff...

Cheers Imp, not a bad price, not brilliant but not bad. Luckily it went to a very decent home.

Yes. It's certainly gone to a good home. Bob will take care of your Doniger.

Gents,

Are things getting worse? This is the second GW not to push over the $500 mark. Saw the doctored ELC A-1 went for $230!! 1stpursuit pulled his ELC 40, possibly for fear of a low price. I have stopped buying the BR's from Japan. Considered listing my Buzz A-2 after the $810 for the BR 44 last week. My 42 has a lot more character. But all depends on the two keenest bidders. Buying replica handguns and longarms from Japan to me active.

Even the Buy/Sell section is getting quieter..

the DIY devalued the A1.....really sad.......would have fetched a better price i'm sure if left in it's factory condition........i believe the hide was the earlier batch.......perhaps a lesson to be learnt about leaving atlerations to the professionals.

i was going to comment thet the BR fetched good coin at $810 but then it's a buzz....

RM didn't do too badly......but this was sold in february......

i had expected Gws to go better since it's a top premium repro....and the waiting list......

guess it's anybody's guess..

I only made a loss of £50 so not so bad. Going by the $ value it's a low price but by £GBP it's ok although it should theoretically have gone higher.

only cos you got it at a resale price from paul?

if you've paid full whack you'll have to take a hit, yes?

does the £50 loss include ebay's slice of the action?

All round it's a buyers market and people are waiting for prices to fall further.

maybe prices will fall further........ for repros.......

originals seem to be holding their own......

There does not seem to have been a fall in the price of decent original A2s.If anything prices seem to have gone up. I suspect some collectors are buying them as an investment in the current economic climate.

Obviously. We're back at this old nugget again. The going rate on a good day is about £400 for a 2nd hand GW. Out of the 4 GW's I've sold this is the first on which I've made a loss, all were 2nd hand. Factors include the terrible economy but also whether, in this case, there was anyone out there who needed a size 40. Maybe if it was a 42" it would've made more.

If I'd been selling a brand spanker I'd have sold for a fixed price only and played the waiting game.

i'm sorry to hear that you made a loss on the doni....guess the other three made up for it?

yes........we agreed to disagree waht was the % you quoted?

the good days....are they in front of us or at the bacK?

the waiting game ......you're prob right.........depends on whether you have the luxury of time......mouths to feed, a shelter.......whether the bank is onto you...........some of us don't.
