G-1 Flight Jacket - Korea?

I picked up a G-1 Flight Jacket at an auction. It was from a gentleman from Rhode Island that was in WWII and Korea. He retired as a Chief Warrant Office after 30 years of Naval service and passed in 2012. The jacket is in really good shape with the leather still pliable, cuffs and hem are both still elasticized and in good shape. The Contract No. is 0SA100-5998. Lots of cool patches, which may be worth more than the jacket. I’m wondering what the age is and what it’s worth. Does anyone in the know have an opinion?

According to official records the 7823-C N# were after 1964… so approx 11 years after the Korea war ended.
Some of the patches look cool… unsure how old they are since not easy to determine without closed details and recto/verso photos.
Cool Vietnam area jacket IMHO.
Thx for sharing.

Yeah, this definitely wasn't his jacket from WW2/Korea. It was made in 1966. Given that it's a 44, it's probably a jacket he got later on (after his body had filled out in his late 20s or early 30s), and then he just applied the old patches to it. It's a neat jacket, but the fact that it wasn't the one he wore while he was flying diminishes its value.
