oh those, hmm ,frustratingly too small for me I suspect Ian. I have to admit a somewhat sick desire just to buy them to check out the detail. That's even worse than having a pair of boots that I could wear but never would. I suppose they'd be good on the beach as the sand wouldn't get in.

Actually, I put one of my originals to good use about 4 xmas' ago. I left them by the xmas tree overnight with some bicarb sprinkled over them and the carpet with tracks from the doorway. The boys still talk about the year that ol Santa left his boots behind (and yes, they've seen real snow since but are still at that age that doesn't need to rationalize life).
