Flight Suits USAF A-2

I just picked up an old flight suits air force issue goatskin a-2. it has a skoville (sp) paper clip type zipper. I paid $125 for it but it needs knits. is this thing worth the effort? the knits are another 60 bucks installed by FS plus shipping. i have no idea. i bought it on a whim. the thing is realy grainy and soft, but i dont know if i should bother.

FS (aka Gibson & Barnes) is very good quality.
Their current spec Air Force A-2 is $338, so you would still be well ahead of the game.

yea i guess so, but i just got my ELC cable goatskin that i've wanted for many years and this thing just doesn't make the cut. i have WAY too many a-2's now. i got the FS before the ELC, now it's....well...a closet queen. When does one say, no more....the ultimate collectors question i suspect.
