when this is added to A-1 boots, (or buckle combat boots maybe) a B-5 mae west and one of my buzz nylon jackets, finished off with a chest type harness and an HS-33 headset, all I need is a red baseball cap ( I am thinking of cooperstown with a standrd early 50's model, opinions?) or my B2 shearling cap to complete a bomber crew ensemble for korea.
whether I take the plunge and source a P1a helmet and a suitable back type chute depends on how much i can scrounge up. i think we are talking a small lottery win though as decent helmets come up a bit pricey. that would make a nice fighter rig too.
