The jacket looks right but it’s in such great condition it almost looks too good to be true.
Especially that new looking collar. Not trying to bad mouth it just trying to get others opinions .

TRUE PIECE OF HISTORY identified 1963 Cold War VMA-224 7823-B (AER) G1 flight jacket IRVIN B FOSTER size 42 This is an exceptional - identified - USMC VMA-224 1963 Cold War type-7823 B (EAR) IRVIN B FOSTER G1 flight jacket in perfect condition. Contract #: NO. DSA-1-2071-63-C. This jacket belonged to LT Colonel G. R. Brier, who was the commanding officer of VMA-224 at the time. G. R. Brier retired from active duty in 1976 with the rank of Brigadier General. He was a distinguished and highly decorated veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. More on his amazing career below. This jacket is for the vintage flight jacket collector and connoisseur who wants to own a true piece of the history of the US Marine Corps. Size 42 label and actual fit, but please check below the detailed measurements for correct fitting.
