Does Excelled still make the official G-1s that are currently supplied to the USN? Are Excelled jackets available to civilians through any consumer or surplus distribution channels?

Not sure what size I need. Do they run true to size? Does the current contract still use synthetic collars? Or does Excelled offer a mouton upgrade option?

Mouton is no longer used on USN jackets .
The collars are Synthetic. I have a size 46 Excelled for sale . If your interested I’ll pull up the listing for you . Let me know .
Burt there's a issued G1 here from the old US Torrejon De Ardoz base but the seller got it in the 80's he said

I know that they are available and turn up occasionally on EBay . I have a mint one that doesn’t look like it was ever issued . I’ve put it up for sale here but there wasn’t any interest .

I have a issued saddlery cooper A2 1994 with the two velcro backing patches on here I only wore once
