Crown/C&C zipper-type identification

Hi folks,

I'd like to ask you about your opinion, and experience with zippers like the one in the picture. I assume that these were not used by manufacturers/contractors in the early '50s [but can be wrong here]. I believe that a zipper like this one is a replacement zipper.

I've seen these types of zippers on Korean-war-era G1s a few times, but the seams on the zipper were always different than on the main jacket body - which always indicated a modification [hopefully this is a positive observation].

Do you have any knowledge of what exact type/model of zipper it is? I'm familiar with the history of Crown/CC, just looking for information about the exact model/type. Picture of the zipper from my recent find MIL-J-7823 (AER). Gladly zipper pin is still in great condition.

Thanks for Your help!

PS. I had a previous account here [DubPablo user] which sadly cannot recover.
