I am eyeing another D-1 from RM and I would like to know if this label is fake or real. This little detail is important to me....

I am having a hard time finding an original matching this NO. and compare RM details.... Hence the question.

Legit, dated 1943… called Vers.3.

Another interesting detail: that contract wasn't just for D-1 jackets, but also for B-3 jackets. AAF tended to buy multiple shearling jacket types in the same contract.

No actual images of the label, just low quality images. There is enough to get an good idea of the features like seam pattern and color...
