Gents,
Today I would like to share an extensive CBI grouping that belonged to T/Sgt. Charles “Mac” Sugg. He served as an engineer-gunner in the 491st Bombardment Squadron during WWII with General Claire L. Chennault’s "Flying Tigers" and was a member of the 14th Air Force Association.
As mentioned before, this grouping is extensive, and consist of the uniforms, official records and memorabilia belonging to Sugg’s.
- Type B-4 Flyer’s Bag, named to Charles M. Sugg A.S.N. 34665868.
- Army Winter Service Coat named to Charles M. Sugg A.S.N. 34665868, featuring a “Flying Tigers” patch on the right shoulder, Bullion CBI patch on the left shoulder, Technical Sergeant chevron patches and engineer specialist sleeve patch.
- 3 cotton shirts featuring Flying Tigers patches and Technical Sergeant chevron patches.
- Official records, diplomas, certificates of appreciation, Presidential letter, personal letters, post cards belonging to Charles M. Sugg.
- Shadow box containing Sugg’s AAF wing badges, leather name tags, dog tag, patches, newspaper articles from the period, wallet and even a picture signed and dedicated by Elizabeth Taylor to “Mac”.
- Over 100 original pictures from WWII.
Say no more guys, just sit and enjoy!
Regards,
Jorge
