If this jacket was used in such a famous movie then the BIN is reasonable but I don't remember seeing any painted jackets in the movie but it's been a while since I watched it. Can anyone come up with a still with the jacket pictured ? I notice that the seller couldn't.

Nahh-the patch is of Heller's unit, yes, upon which Catch-22 was based, but the film A-2's had painted canvas patches and were far less colourful-Ken Calder said he had several pass through his hands in the days of The Thrift Store. Still a desirable jacket, but I don't think it was used in the film.

I agree with you here. Perhaps someone should ask the seller to back up the claim it was used in Catch 22 with some proof.
