This is turning into a mare.
ELC have just got back to me, they have just sold out if Navy deck zip jackets in 42 and 44, each of which would be a fit...A conversation with HPA (OH the customs charges....) and American classics in Covent garden have drawn a blank too.
Now I may have an in for Japan so shipping one out of there may not be necessary as a frequent traveller is able potentially to bring me one back.
But how in hell do I go about communcating my needs in English and ending up with what I need?

I've used Masataka, from Zipangu treasures proxy service a couple of times - completely reliable. I think he looks for 10% plus postage of course, but when I did this the pound was very much more in our favour.
