Is anyone able to compare or comment on the best option for Roughouts?
Buzz aside I see;
- from Juan's thread WWII Imp is offering them for $150 but with a hefty wait (website still says $140) http://www.wwiiimpressions.com/newusarmyroughout.html

Be sure not to confuse the USMC boondocker (Old price $150) and Army rough out (Old price $140). Currently we are proceeding with an order for the USMC boondocker, not the army rough out. Once the first set of boots arrive we will be organizing an order for the rough outs.

As far as the best option, you will NOT be sorry if you waited. However, I know the wait is lengthy. We are not talking about a pair of boxer brief underwear though. These are a specialy item piece of footwear that will last a long while and makes a statement about your personality. I can tell you that we have many customers with complaints about the cheaper competition that are now ordering with us. There is a reason why my competition sometimes blows their boots out when they are on sale. With us you definately get what you pay for and I have a long list of raving satisfied boot customers.

Hey Juan, any rough idea on when the USMC boondockers will be available now that you're proceeding with the order?

I anticipate ordering next week. Then delivery should be around end of August.

I am waiting for production confirmation samples from the factory to arrive next week.
