What's the squadron patch or group patch you you like the most ?
I mean strictly artwork speaking (not because you like that particular squadron)

I like the 334th

I have lots of faves but the 91st Bomb Group - 8th AF - is certainly near if not at the top of the list:

I like the 527th Bomb Squadron for it's simplicity and striking graphics.

Damned if I can find a pic however.

+1 for the 527th-I used to have this one on my Aero HH A-2. Don't miss the jacket, but I do miss the patch!

This is still my fave though-548th BS, 385th BG. B-17's out of Great Ashfield.

Cheers Mikey, Platon and Van, I love that patch. I'm not one for wearing them on A-2's but that is one I would seriously consider.
I imagine an original would cost a small fortune.

It would also make a nice tattoo. Hmmmmmmm...

I'm also interested in the Photo recon squadrons especially the 7th Recon Group based at Mount Farm. This is one from the 13th Sqdn.

I did find an original patch from the 22nd on ebay, it was a grouping being split by the family, quite sad really. The guys cap, insignia, a jacket (not an A-2) and other bits and bob were auctioned including the original Sqdn patch. I had a couple of serious bids but it went for silly money.

I just recently picked up this original 833rd BS, 486th BG, squadron insignia off e-bay. This was my grandad's outfit, so this insignia has special meaning to me.

Since I first saw this patch in 1968.

I ask you, is there another kind?

As seen on the jacket I gave my Father for his retirement thirty years ago.
