badly listed, possibly ww2 a-2 jacket

there is an a-2 jacket which is badly listed, the lining is a replacement, black colour, and no label. i don't know enough to tell whether it's the real thing or not. it could go cheap as well as shipping is US only.
i don't want to post a link to it and mess it up for someone in this forum who may have already placed a bid or has spotted it and wants to bid in the last few seconds and get a bargain.
if there is no objection then i will post a link to it in the next 12 hours, you can then check it out. apparently someone has informed the seller that it is.

Appears to be a size 46. Value if all-original, unmolested, leather in decent shape, and a "blank": anywhere from $1500-$2000.

Issues with this jacket: poorly replaced lining, hangar removed and re-attached (compromising the leather, even if the rest of the leather is good, which it's not possible to tell from these photos), no label, shitty replacement zipper. Are the knits original?

Value of a restored jacket (ie, replaced lining, zipper, knits, hangar, perhaps a repro label) with all the issues of extra holes for the zipper replacement, etc: $750, perhaps?

Cost to have all those things replaced by a competent place using excellent replacement materials... I dunno - $600? (not including postage and time spent escorting the jacket from place to place.)

So, as much as I like to see original jackets restored to their former splendor, I've managed to talk myself out of participating in this one....

Well I am happy to risk it at this price. I have a good feeling about it and am looking forward to seeing it. Since he ships only within the US I had planned (without asking) to have it sent straight to JC to hear his assessment and get some tips, the irony here is that John was the second highest bidder and pushed my price up.

I'll post pics when I eventually get it.
