John just got back from a leather scouting trip to Italy.
I believe this was the only set of Badalassi hide he brought back.
He also mentioned getting a reddish russet cowhide from another tannery, color called "Papaya".
He noted that both leathers were "comfortable but weighty" being heavier and stiffer than the Shinki Japanese HH he uses.

JC must love getting out and about like this. Fitting reward for his efforts. And probably a tax write off
as well. I just hope he took his 'financial advisor' and Executive 'junior' VP along as well....

Tried cow and went back to horse. I just like the smell better and it is not as heavy.
