bad luck with trying to restore a shearling

hello,

to give answer to Mark, i made a new post on the resto of my jacket

hooooooooo old shearling, not pushing hard; my fingers goes trough

to reinforce, Murielle place a piece of thermo-glue cloth

with iron , not too hot; just press on it protecting with a cloth

result of first step

presenting (try) the patch

sewing the patch (by hand control)

first sewing line is done but bad result

shearling too fragile and tear again just one centimeter far

so she place the patch sewing her point by point by the hand

shoulder is now completed, one patch on each side (front and back)

so, result is not as i want , jacket is not wearable but still good on manniquin

i have also photos when Murielle replace the zipper, if you are interested tell it to me and i will make also a new post
